Jack Hermansson (24-10 MMA, 11-8 UFC) took on Myktybek Orolbai (15-2-1 MMA, 4-1 UFC) in Qatar.
In the Swede’s first UFC fight dropping down to welterweight, it was a fast paced, but short evening.
Orolbai throwing big shots early, but nothing lands. The Norwegian based fighter using his left jab and kicks to keep distance as he backpedals. Still anyone’s round, and a clinch leads to a few knees from Jack. But, Myktybek cracks Jack with a big right hand, and another big right hand lands…. and Jack it out. One more punch on the ground on the unconscious Swede at 2:46 into the first round.
It was the second KO loss for Hermansson.
