Frontline Academy’s Joseph Karim has booked his pro debut at Budo Fighting Championship 14. The event will take place on May 21, and the middleweight’s opponent will be current BCMMA light heavyweight amateur champion Rafal Cejrowski. AddictedOTR.com first announced the news.

This BJJ brown belt Karim trains under Norway-based professor Eduardo “Teta” Rios and is well known in BJJ and grappling circuits having won the European Open as purple belt, London Open as brown belt as well as many other local tournaments all over Scandinavia.

The Norwegian has a 4-0 amateur MMA record, winning all matches with submissions. The man standing in front of him Cejrowski also has a 4-0 amateur record and the Polish fighter is known for his wrestling. This will be a catchweight bout at 86 kg.
