Zebaztian Kadestam (8-2) will fight in Stockholm for the second time, and the Pancrase MMA fighter hopes the result is different at Superior Challenge 15 on Saturday as he faces Finn Juho Valamaa (12-4 & #5 Nordic Ranked).  “I learned so much from that fight, I had zero gas left after the first round but me and Foss made it Nordic fight of the year. I learned to train smarter and fight smarter and cut weight smarter that fight changed me as a fighter.”

Kadestam now trains locally in Stockholm after calling Legacy Gym home in Asia for years. The Swede has a 8 win and 2 loss record.  The hulking welterweight has won his last 4 out of 5 bouts, and most recently stopped Glenn Sparv at PXC 53 in just 11 seconds. His only loss in this run was to the previously mentioned Hakon Foss, in a 15 minute split decision war at IRFA 9, his first pro MMA fight in his home country.

“You will see a different fighter on Saturday I’m gonna enjoy every second.”

“I’ve been defending PXC Title a few times so that’s been my focus getting those big fights, but unfortunately I got injured last year pretty bad so I missed a few fights thanks to that.” says Zebaztian that hasn’t been in the cage in a year.

The Swede will battle Finn Valamaa comes that comes in with a 12 win and 4 loss record.  The FinnFighters Gym fighter was on a 6 fight winning streak before his recent loss to the top European fighter Karl Amoussou. “I heard he is tough, pro boxer and so on the guy is legit no doubt, but I’m better than ever everywhere I don’t see threats I see an opportunity to showcase what I’m made of.”

“It’s the real fight of the night” says the fighter about the Finnkamp matchup.
