Mikkel Parlo (12-2) has been out of the cage with an injury for 17 months, but the Dane is now just days away from return bout at German MMA Championship (GMC) 7. ‘It’s been a long time, but I’m ready’ says Parlo.

The 25 year old will be facing top competition in German Abus Magomedov (12-2) out of Combat Club Cologne on November 7th in Castrop-Rauxel.

The hype around the comeback is making news in Denmark, as it coincides with the release of his book Baestet –the first on MMA in Denmark.

“I’m ready and hungry for the fight. I feel it would be great to do my comeback in Europe. My last fight in Denmark was in august 2012 and it was an awesome experience to fight for all my fans. I hope many will show up in Germany. I’m very thankful to Bellator, for releasing me from my contract for this one.” says the fighter about his strategy to return to action in Europe.

“He looks skilled, his his just one year older than me and we have the same 12-2 record. The fight is difficult to predict. I have a game plan, but have prepared myself for a bit of everything.” says Parlo about his opponent.
