Anna Elmose has been signed to the UFC and booked for the upcoming Rotterdam card in the Netherlands on Sunday, May 8. While Panda was set for a Cage Warriors 75 bout in two weeks, the bigger show has made it official that Panda will instead step into the Octagon.

Germaine de Randamie (5-3) will welcome the Rumble Sports fighter to the UFC Fight Night 87 card. De Randamie is a 31 year old dutch former kickboxer, and notched a win last March 2015 over Larissa Pacheco.

Elmose will step up to the UFC with just three pro MMA fights. Her devastating power however has garnered her the attention and respect for such a signing, as all three opponents where stopped before reaching the third round. Elmose had been recovering from some injuries and hasn’t been in the cage since May of 2015. Anna was MMAViking.com’s 2015 Female Fighter of the Year.

“My goal is UFC, but I think I need to keep on fighting until they invite me to join the party…” said the Dane to MMAViking.com late last year as she was looking toward booking her next fight. Looks like the party has come a bit early. She is the first ever Danish female to be signed to the UFC, and will be the fourth fighter to ever compete when she steps into the cage this May.

Elmose will join other Nordic fighters Gunnar Nelson and Reza Madadi who are also on the card, which will be headlined by Andrei Arlovski and Alistair Overeem.
