Finn Aleksi Toivonen (4-0) is on a tear, winning all four of his professional bouts by finish before the third round. Toivonen will have his chance for five as he faces Russian powerhouse Oleg Lichkovaka (3-1) at Cage 39 on April 29 in Helsinki. “Im looking forward to put a show on for the fans once again” says the Finn to MMAViking.com.

The Lahden Gentai / Primus fighter is emerging as a top prospect on the Nordic scene. The undefeated flyweight fought a tough Brazilian Vilson Junior (5-2) in his last outing at CAGE 37 and was impressive throughout, and eventually getting a first round armbar submission. Toivonen turned pro in October of 2015.

“He’s slightly shorter than me, bald and seems to be very muscular. Then again I have hair on my head so it should balance the differences between our biceps” says Toivonen about the matchup.

Oleg is out of Russia and has a punishing wrestling game.  He is only 20 years old and fights out of Sech Pro MMA.  The Pitbull lost by decision in his last outing.  “I’m excited to meet him inside the Cage, it’ll be a nice challenge for me.” says Toivonen about the matchup.
