Sweden’s International Ring Fighting Alliance (IRFA) has had a few bouts drop off the card leading up to Saturday’s card at Solnahallen in Stockholm. Most notably, Jonatan Westin (#6 ranked Nordic WW) announced that no opponent could be found and today Sadibou Sy (#4 ranked Nordic MW) announced an injury would prevent him from battle.

The card will move forward with two professional bouts, bringing together one Swede based in Sweden and another transplant now training out of Sweden versus Norwegian fighters. Swede Zebaztian Kadestam versus Norway’s Håkon Foss is the main event. Kadestam has been making his name oversees, training at Legacy Gym in Asia. He has a 7 win and 1 loss record, winning his last three bouts with the PXF promotion where he holds the welterweight title.

Norwegian Foss Looking for Win in Stockholm over Swede

Foss trains out of Frontline Academy. His name came up recently as he tried out for TUF in Las Vegas. With a 3 and 2 record, the tall and dangerous fighter was last in the cage with Cage Warriors where he beat Swede Per Franklin.

Sweden based Guram Kutateladze (4-2) versus Frontline Academy’s Joachim Tollefsen (2-0) will be the other pro MMA bout.  The undefeated Tollefsen won bronze at the IMMAF championships in 2014 and has since won two professional fights with stoppages in the first round. Kutateladze trains out of Allstars Training Center and Redline in Malmo.
