Fight Night 10 is highlighting some of Finland’s best, with top ranked Finns Toni Tauru (#2 Nordic Bantamweight) and Katja Kankaanpää (#1 Ranked Nordics) taking center stage.  The Lappeenranta Fight Night card is also bolstered by the return of Mikko Rupponen on the May 17th event in Eastern Finland.

Killer Bunny (8-1-1) will make this late announced appearance on the card, as Invicta hasn’t yet planned its next event. With an 8 win and 1 loss record, the MMA Seinajoki / Team Botnia Punishment fighter, Kankaanpää is still one of the best straw weight fighters in the world, and only recent put a blemish on her record with a close decision to UFC signed Joanne Calderwood. Kankaanpää will face Ukraine’s Alyona Rassohyna (8-2-0), who is on a four fight winning streak.

Tauru’s Finish at Cage Warriors 66

Dynamite has put together an impressive 9 fight winning streak. Beating TUF’s Emil Hartsner with a Gogoplata last November, put the Finn on the map and he most recently made quick work of another Swede in finishing Martin Akhtar at the recent Cage Warriors 66. No opponent has been announced for the LFN 10 card.

Rupponen hasn’t fought since 2010, since he won by unanimous decision over Murad Magomedov. The Espoon Kehahait returns to action after over three years away from the cage next weekend in Espoo, and again here on LFN 10. A pro fighter since the 90’s where he later became a staple of Fight Festival, the light heavyweight looks to pick up his career where he left off. No opponent has been announced.
