Ward Up Next for Parlo

A happy Mikkel Parlo comments after Friday’s semi-final win against undefeated Jason Butcher at the Visalia Convention Center in California.

I would have finished him early, and it was a little annoying that he constantly fell down on his back rather than stand and take his beating. But my game plan was to keep me away from his ground fighting. At one point I hit him hard with a body blow to the liver, and I think – ok, now he he doesn’t think this is fun anymore. There I felt that I started to take over the fight.

The American wrestler Brennan Ward won by submission over Joe Pacheco, and boosted his overall record to 4 wins and 1 loss.

The finals will take place at the WinStar World Casino in Thackerville, Oklahoma.
