Tauru Loses at ONE FC, Stopped Late

Finn Toni Tauru (10-3-1) lost to undefeated Muin Gafurov (10-0) at ONE FC today in China. Dynamite was stopped in the third due to strikes at the ONE WUJIE: DYNASTY OF CHAMPIONS event.

Tauru did have moments early, getting on top in both the first and second round, before his opponent took over in the final frame.

Tauru has now lost two fights in a row after his unsuccessful title shot against Bibiano Fernandes. Prior to the losses, the Finn won 10 straight bouts.

The 19 year old Gafurov has stopped all of his opponents, and it has been only Tauru that made it to the third round.
