Nicolas Dalby captured the vacant Cage Warriors welterweight world title with a spectacular headkick KO of Sergei Churilov. Following in the footsteps of Anton Kuivanen (2013), Andreas SpΓ₯ng (2012), Kristian Lexell (2011), Dalby becomes the 4th winner of MMAViking.com’s annual ‘KO of the Year’ award.
The Sharpshooter was in front of his hometown crowd at the promotions much hyped first Scandinavian event. Dalby headlined Cage Warriors 66 card against the Ukrainian (15-2) for the vacant belt vacated by Cathal Pendred.
