Marthin Hamlet (3-0) is one of the hottest prospects in Nordic MMA and the 7-time Norway national champion wrestler will take his talent to the newly launched Cage Warriors Academy Denmark. MMA Viking has learned that the undefeated light heavyweight has signed a 2-fight deal and will co-headline the event on September 22 at the debut show in Nykøbing Falster, Denmark.

“The second fight will happen later this year so that fits good in my plan.” says the hard hitting MMA convert to MMA Viking that has already had initial meetings with Dana White in Las Vegas about getting into the UFC’s Octagon.

“If i deliver this this year a lot will happens in USA next year. I’m all in!”

The Frontline Academy fighter remains perfect in his pro MMA career, and has won all three of his bouts by stoppage. The Norwegian wrestler used his wrestling and viscous ground and point to stop German Koray Cengiz (4-3) at Superior Challenge 17 in his last outing in May.

Hamlet will co-headline the card with 2016 Olympic Games silver medalist in Greco Roman wrestling Mark O. Madsen (4-0) headlining card.  Madsen is also leading the launch of the new regional promotion under the Cage Warriors brand with his Team Olympian.

“I’ve have know Mark for many years and we have been traveled a lot on tournaments and training camps. When he told me about he’s team will organize two event this year and one of them will be in Nykøbing Falster I got very excited, because I know this town loves wrestlers and sports. It will be a lot of people watching.” says Marthin.

“He also gave me a very good offer, it was easy to say yes.”

There will be 3 pro fights and 10 amateur bouts (B-Class under IMMAF rules fights) at the event in Nykøbing Falster. All the fights will be broadcasted live on VIAPLAY FIGHTING. Fighter applications at WWW.CWAD.DK and fans can by tickets at Ticketmaster.
