Soren Bak is still feeling the effect of his Nordic Fight of the Year with Finn Aleksi Nurminen at Cage 30. The Dane had booked his next fight in Berlin against Mohamed Grabinski originally in July and then pushed it back to October 10, but hasn’t been able to train due to a rib injury suffered in his last bout.  “Søren is only training at 60%, no way he could fight” says coach and manager Carsten Ettrup about the planned We Love MMA (WLMMA) promotion bout.

Bak Postpones Return

The True Viking has an impressive a 6 win and 0 loss record and the bout with Grabinski would have been a big one, as the CSA.DK fighter battles with the top German prospect with a 10 win and 1 loss record.  Grabinski is the 2nd ranked German at lightweight, with only the UFC’s Nick Hein ranked above him.

Look for a return from the undefeated Dane in early 2016.
