Following-up the recent Cage Warriors press release that Mats Nilsson would fight on their upcoming promotion, The Zone FC today announced the same. Nilsson is a top middleweight out of Helsingborg, Sweden. The 6’1″ (186cm) fighter is 7-1-1 since turning pro in 2008.
Sweden’s Mats Nilsson, voted 2010 breakthrough fighter of the year at Swedish Martial Arts award, will face TUF finalist Tommy Speer at Cage Warriors Fighting Championships. The event will take place at “Fight Night 3″, the same card that Swede Victor Cheng and Domingos Mestre, and Finn Juha-Pekka Vainikainen will compete on.
