Swedish-based Bruno Carvalho was set to face Jack Mason and Swede Mats Nilsson was scheduled to take on Lee Chadwick at Cage Warriors 57 in Liverpool on Saturday. But all of this has changed.
On Monday, Cage Warriors officials announced that “Jack Mason faces Ali Arish (19-2) instead of Bruno Carvalho; a new opponent is currently being sought for Mats Nilsson following the withdrawal of Lee Chadwick due to injury”
However, it seems that no replacement has been found, as Nilsson posted the following message :
Wont be fighting on #cwfc57. @iandean worked hard to find a replacement but just wasnt able on such short notice. Shit happens.

Nilsson is on a role of late, winning his last 6 of 7 bouts, including his most recent impressive performance against Chris Scott in April. The Rumble Sports middleweight could be looking at a Cage Warriors title shot with a few more wins with the promotion.
The reason for Carvalho’s exclusion is not certain, but MMAViking.com has confirmed with the fighter that he will not be fighting. Carvalho from Allstars Training Center / Team Carvalho fought last in March, where he won in dominant fashion against Steven Dinsdale. The Brazilian, now living in Stockholm, has 15 wins and 6 losses.
